I am very excited to have the opportunity to present this edition of the Journal of Data Analytics and Intelligent Decision-Making (JDAID) as an academic forum for advancing the body of knowledge within the disciplinary areas of Data Analytics, Intelligent Systems, and Decision Science. As organizations produce and use more data than ever before, they and their decision-makers are being confronted with increasingly complex and uncertain environments, requiring analytical rigor, intelligent models, and evidence-based insights. The goal of JDAID is to increase and expand the body of knowledge that integrates data analytics, machine learning, artificial intelligence (AI), and intelligent decision-support systems supporting and improving the quality and effectiveness of decision-making across various domains. The articles in this edition present the current research directions in data-driven decision making, predictive and prescriptive analytics, intelligent analytical models, and computational decision support systems. Collectively, the authors highlight the impact of advanced analytics and intelligent methods on improving operational excellence, supporting strategic planning efforts, and advancing organizational learning. JDAID publishes articles quarterly in English and relies on a rigorous peer-review process and ethical publishing practices. Additionally, JDAID promotes international and interdisciplinary collaboration among scholars. We welcome researchers, academics, and graduate students to submit original, high-quality manuscripts that fit within the scope and objectives of the journal.
